WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are currently looking for an intern (full-time or part-time) to join us and support our upcoming exhibitions, design projects, and experimental research.
📅 When: June–August or longer — we’re flexible with start dates- but end of June at the latest.
📍 Where: Berlin
If you're curious, hands-on, and excited to dive into interdisciplinary creative work — we’d love to hear from you! You don’t have to meet every single point we list below. Tell us where your interests lie, what you can bring to the table, and what you’d like to explore with us.
This internship is for those interested in working at the intersection of nature, material innovation, and sustainability. Ideal backgrounds include:

Biology, biotechnology, textile design, material science, sustainable design, or related fields
What you might be doing:

Hands-on support in the development of new biomaterials
(e.g. polysaccharides, mycelium, bacterial cellulose, algae-based materials) -
Mixing, growing, maintaining cultures

Post-processing and shaping materials into prototypes
-
Natural dyeing and surface treatments
-
Documenting experiments and helping refine processes
-
Researching circular design methods and sustainable production
We’re especially interested in people who are:

Curious, patient, and enjoy experimenting

Comfortable with lab work

Excited about future materials and ecological design approaches

Interested in sustainability, circular economy and SDGs
