The goal is not only to develop a compelling portfolio, but also to gain greater clarity and confidence in your own creative work.

 

I offer personalized mentoring for high school students, college students, and recent graduates.

Mentoring for Students & Young Professionals I Artistic Research & Biodesign

For students and young professionals who wish to further develop their own practice using sustainable and forward-thinking approaches. Depending on the focus, topics such as biodesign, circular design, more-than-human perspectives, and other practices can be incorporated. Support is provided in developing projects, portfolios, and concepts, as well as in refining artistic work.

My work draws on my experience as an artist and designer with an international exhibition record, as well as my experience of teaching at institutions such as the Royal College of Art in London (MA Fashion, Bio platform). During our mentoring sessions, I provide substantive feedback, encourage experimentation, and offer a clear structure, all of which are tailored to your specific situation.

 

I believe that every creative individual has their own unique form of expression. My goal is to strengthen this and support you in taking your next concrete steps.

Introductory session (30 mins): €25

Individual session (60 mins): €60

 

Packages:

Intensive support for portfolio & application: €450

10 sessions of 60 mins each, including interview preparation

(1–2 sessions per week recommended)

  • MA in Fashion, Royal College of Art, London (Distinction; Opportunities Scholarship)

  • BA in Fashion, Textile and Costume Design, HAW Hamburg (1.3)

  • Exchange semester at California State University, Long Beach, USA (DAAD Scholarship)

 

Artistic and professional practice (selection):

  • International exhibitions and projects (in London, Berlin, New York and Beijing), including Berlin Fashion Week, Grassi Museum and Bucerius Kunst Forum

  • Interdisciplinary project work at the intersection of art, science and design (including Fraunhofer Society, HAW Hamburg and TU Berlin/EXIST scholarship)

  • Solo exhibitions and short films (supported by CSS, Hamburgische Kulturstiftung and Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft)

  • Film and theatre practice in costume, direction and conception in collaborative and independently realised works

  • Multiple award-winning work (including Gucci x ARTSTHREAD Award, Silberstreifen Award and WESLDET Exhibition Award)

  • Co-founder and material designer, Mycelium start-up, EXIST scholarship

Teaching

  • Lecturer at the Royal College of Art (MA Fashion/Biodesign)

  • Workshops and artistic accompaniment in cooperation with Deichtorhallen Hamburg and the Museum of Art and Crafts Hamburg ("Kunstpioniere Plus")
