Bea Brücker teamed up with InnovatED, an educational format by Haus von Eden, to create a masterclass exploring the connection between capitalism, neoliberalism, the climate crisis and social injustice.

In this one-hour class, she introduces biomaterials, post-capitalist design and art practices, and design activism. The masterclass explores the general challenges of design in the face of the climate and social crisis and how biodesign can be used to create post-capitalist and climate-positive alternatives, making the future of fashion circular and fair.

It also highlights the importance of collaboration, how designers can strengthen communities, and how fashion could even help restore polluted ecosystems. Bea Brücker argues that designers have a responsibility to challenge the status quo rather than reinforce it. Biodesign has great potential to shape the future.
